Enter the full legal last name and first name. Always use the legal name on record — not a nickname or shortened version. 1. Recent Arrest — Roster Has Not Yet Updated
The ACSO inmate database updates periodically and may not reflect very recent bookings immediately. For arrests that happened in the last several hours, call the facility directly at (303) 654-1850 rather than relying on the online search alone.
2. Name Entry Error or Nickname Used
Search using the person’s legal name as it appears in official records. If a full name returns nothing, try a different spelling or use a booking ID from court documents. Try alternate spellings of the last name, or use a booking ID from any court document for a more direct search.
3. Released on Bond or OR Release
If bail was posted or an Own Recognizance release was granted, the person will no longer appear on the active roster. Call (303) 654-1850 to confirm current status if someone has disappeared from the roster unexpectedly.
4. Transferred to CDOC State Prison
After sentencing, people transfer from ACDF to Colorado Department of Corrections custody. They disappear from the ACSO roster upon transfer. Search the CDOC Offender Search at cdoc.colorado.gov/offender-search. Note that CDOC transitioned phone services from GTL/ViaPath to Securus in September 2023 — old GTL accounts no longer work for CDOC facilities.
5. Held by a Federal Agency
ACDF also accepts inmates from federal agencies including the U.S. Marshals Service. Every person in ACDF custody has a commissary account for approved purchases. Deposits come from outside.
Option 1 — On-Site Kiosk (24 Hours)
A kiosk is available at the east Jail Visitation entrance at 150 N. 19th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Accepts credit and debit cards and cash — does not accept dollar bills. Enter the inmate’s name and follow the prompts. The same kiosk also handles inmate phone and chirper account deposits.
Option 2 — JailATM.com (Online)
Deposits can also be made online at JailATM.com. You will need the inmate’s name and booking ID. Fees apply — confirm current rates at JailATM.com before completing any transaction.

Phone Calls — Outbound Only
Inmates cannot receive incoming calls — all calls are outgoing from the inmate. To receive calls, you need to set up a prepaid account with the facility’s phone service provider. Contact Inmate Services at (303) 655-3302 or check adamssheriffco.gov/inmate-services/ for the current provider and setup instructions. All calls are monitored and recorded except legal communications.

If your person has been transferred to a CDOC state prison, note that CDOC switched from GTL/ViaPath to Securus in September 2023. Old GTL accounts do not work for CDOC facilities. Create a new account at securustech.net to receive calls from CDOC.

Per the official ACSO Jail Division page, the Detention Facility houses inmates who are either awaiting trial or have been sentenced and are waiting to be transferred to another facility. Once transferred to CDOC, they leave the ACSO database entirely.
